M2 AutoDreams 12 Days Of Christmas Holiday Assortment by Castline

The base cars in the set are the Custom version of the AutoThentics. However, these are all in Holiday colors, and all have special pinstriping designed by Tom Kelly. Each car includes a collector card with a matching pinstripe design, and the 12 Day Of Christmas poem printed on them.

The reverse side of the cards include a short biography and picture of Tom Kelly.

The other major difference on the Holiday assortment is the gold engine feature. It's as bright and shiny as the M2's new Chase Cars. And for the 57 Chevy Bel Air fans, Castline's updated grille is included on this rendition.

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the Shack
Not a wheel was turning, not singles or 5 packs;

The blisters were hung on the pegs with great care, In hopes that new diecast soon would be there;

The Castliners were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of flame jobs danced in their heads;

And April in her 'kerchief, and Chris in his cap, had just settled down for a long winter's nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, Sean sprang from his bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the window he flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to Jim's wondering eyes should appear, twelve tiny clamshells, and shiny new gear,
With a little designer, so lively and cool, He knew in a moment it must be M2.

More rapid than floppers his cruisers they came, and he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

"Now, DeSoto! now, Bel Air! now Fireflite and Vicky!
On, Star Chief! on Crestliner! on Coronet and Chevy!
Go, Eight Eight! go Fairlane! go Mercury and Lancer!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now zoom away! zoom away! zoom away all!"

As smoke that before the wild burnouts fly, when they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the cruisers they flew, with the lakepipes and pinstripes, and Tom Kelly too.

And then, in a twinkling, Arron heard on the spire the squealing and scraping of each little tire.

As he drew in his hand, and was turning around, down the chimney Tom Kelly came with a bound.

He was dressed to impress, from his head to his shoe, and his clothes were all tarnished with primer and hue; A bundle of toys he had flung on his back, and he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

His eyes -- how they twinkled! his dimples how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, and the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;

The stem of an airbrush he held tight in his hand, and the stripes it produced were much more than grand; He had a friends face with a look of cool calm, that lit up when he showed the gifts in his palm;

He was slick and reserved, a right humble painter, Richard shook when he saw him, and Alex just fainted;

A wink of his eye and a turn of his head, soon gave Joe to know he had nothing to dread;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, and filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk, and laying his finger aside of his nose, and giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his short, to his team gave the word, and away they all cruised like the rods on Woodward.

But Jackie heard him exclaim, ere he peeled out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday from the Castline team!

Each car also includes a tree hanger string, and instructions in it's use.

I was going to get out our artificial tree for a picture, but cannot. I forgot we got rid of it last year. So a cheesy shot from one of the bushes in the back yard will have to do.

This set is on par with Castline's well known quality. It will make  a great addition to your classic car collection, as well as any Holiday sub-collections you may have.
